Colour Thread Bookmark - Pigeon

This bookmark features a distinctive woven texture, created using a single continuous thread without any fabric.

Inspired by The Enemies of Books by British printer and bibliographer William Blades, first published in the 1880s, it celebrates a love of books while playfully acknowledging the things that threaten them, including bugs, rats, and human neglect.

A carrier pigeon and a small note tied to its leg are placed on either end of the bookmark. One side rests between the pages, while the other remains outside, helping you easily find where you left off.

The bookmark comes in a semi-transparent paper sleeve that softly reveals what’s inside.
